2016年,曾经停留在概念化阶段的一个词语迅速蹿红:VR虚拟现实。就在VR持续走红的同时,销声匿迹近一年的国产手机品牌原点宣布经过业务重组洗礼并融入了光学+软件+硬件团队。在7月10日推出原点VR眼镜+VR头戴显示器,同时发布点点播放1.0、点点播放APP2.0,由此进军VR虚拟现实的浪潮。开展硬件+软件+播放器+VR内容发展模式,这一举措彻底将VR推向了舆论最前端。
此前,阿里巴巴曾宣布成立VR实验室并发布“Buy+”计划,将全面布局VR。这一消息也表明,以阿里为首的国内巨头正式开始在VR领域发力,以VR全景的方式重新定位电商模式,将VR与电商对接起来。原点从手机业务到VR虚拟现实的转变,也为VR在全景直播和电商应用领域提供了强大的驱动力。
VR应用的行业也日益增加,譬如原点针对网购平台推出VR应用:美衣秀——一款网上VR试衣的操作系统。这一系统可以解决诸多网购带来的不便,并能解决网购中一些试衣过程中的短板,能增强用户的试衣体验,增加试衣乐趣,从而促成订单。VR应用的行业还渗透进去游艇、汽车、房地产等行业应用。

目前而言,VR在游戏世界成了万众瞩目的热门,但由于无法彻底解决内容困乏的难题,所以VR虚拟现实技术离普罗大众依然较远。原点之所以能在VR虚拟现实中在短时间内实现了从“新秀”到“领秀”的转变,正是基于原点采用了“VR眼镜/VR头戴显示器+点点播放App/点点播放器+播放内容”方式,以App盘活VR和智能设备的联动性,从而解决了VR在内容层面的匮乏问题。另据权威渠道获悉,在未来发展规划中,原点将深入整合“全景视频制作+点点播放定制App+点点播放器+播放内容”的全链条服务,打造以原点为中心的VR虚拟现实生态圈。
